Marmalade Café is one of the first new tenants of the re-designed La Cumbre Plaza.
The design challenge was to create a unique local atmosphere in the (former) space of a rather typical 60s burger restaurant. The renovation included a complete gut rehab of the space, with the addition of a new outdoor colonnade, and a completely new and updated commercial kitchen.
The interior design of a MARMALADE CAFÉ is adorned with the owner’s antiques and artifacts collected from all over the United States and manifests the personal touch of its owners.
The exterior design was executed under the newly established design guidelines which revitalized this shopping center. See also ‘From Malls to Mainstreets’ under the ‘Media’ Section of this site.
Gerhard W. Mayer was the lead architect on this project.
